The Women in IT USA Summit 2023, presented by DiversityQ and Information Age took place on Thursday, September 14, in New York.
We would like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to everyone who attended this year’s edition!
Our theme this year was impactful growth in an ever-changing world, and we explored the following topics:
Technology: we explored trending tech conversations including – AI and machine learning, Web 3.0, 5G technology and Internet of Things, and more, alongside cloud computing and edge computing and cybersecurity and privacy.
DEI: we delved into DEI topics such as creating a supportive working environment, investing in DEI and having DEI accountability, alongside the importance of diversity beyond gender, social mobility, cultural awareness, allyship and multigenerational teams.
Professional Development: we discussed the necessary skills and support for career development, as well as the importance of investment in training, futureproofing your skillsets, networking opportunities and career path planning, as well as encouraging intergenerational mentoring.
